The SR-25 is a Prestige 2 semi-automatic sniper rifle with moderate damage and a high rate of fire.

The SR-25 is a statistically similar weapon to the RSASS. Compared to the RSASS, the SR-25 has increased raw damage, a higher headshot multiplier, and a faster reload in exchange for half the magazine size, higher recoil, and a slightly slower rate of fire.
FMJ is an effective choice in Ranked, reducing the number of body shots needed for a kill from four to three. The SR-25 takes two consecutive headshots to kill, although with Hollow Point ammunition it can be reduced to a single headshot followed up by another hit anywhere on the body. This damage profile is on the lower end of the sniper rifle class, but is fairly high overall.
In terms of the semi-automatics, the SR-25 fills the role of the happy median between the faster RSASS, SAM-R, and SG 550 and the harder-hitting MSG90 and Dragunov.
